Graeme McDougall - Junior Coaching sessions - With a mix of experience in the classes it can be difficult to plan a session to suit all . These games ensure that all can be competitive and learn during the session.
Putting pool - Knots and crosses and distance control drills are my favourites.

At Cawder GC Professional Shop we are committed to offering a warm and friendly atmosphere for members and visitors, who are looking for a professional quality customer service and great value for money on top golfing brands.

It is no surprise that the very best amateurs and professionals spend significant amounts of time both practicing and taking professional help with each part of their game. Whilst for social golfers this amount of time is not readily available, it is surprising how much improvement can be gained by a little input from the trained eye.

Whether you are taking your first steps in the game and would like to learn the fundamentals, or if you're looking to iron out those problems and claim the club championship we have everything you need at Gordon Stewart's Coaching Academy.

Simon Payne was appointed Head Professional at Cowglen on the 1st May 2000 having served as an assistant at the club since 1989. Simon has built a strong reputation as a teacher and golf equipment specialist; he is highly regarded for his detailed knowledge of the golf swing and ability to clearly communicate good technique to all golfers, whether they be low handicappers or beginners.

My aim when teaching is to help my pupils understand their problems so that they can improve their golf and the enjoyment they ultimately derive from the game. As no two golfers are the same lessons are tailored to suit the requirements of each individual.
