The GGU Club Handicap Trophy was held at Cowglen Golf Club on Sunday 5th September.
Just minutes from Glasgow City Centre, Cowglen was designed by the legendary James Braid in 1906 and then underwent significant remodelling in 1994. Offering stunning views across the city from the top of the course, Cowglen’s parkland layout offers low handicap golfers a test from the back tees but is also fair and enjoyable for all levels of golfers.
The competition format is Stableford, with the best 2 scores out of 3 counting towards the total.
The Winners of the 2021 event are Ralston Golf Club, their team of Mark McLeod, Peter Fee and Jack McIlvaney edging out Cathkin Braes. Mark McLeod's round was the best of the day.
Jack McIlvaney - 29 pts
