The final of the West of Scotland Boys Matchplay was held at Cathkin Braes Golf club on the afternoon of the 10th of July.
The finalists were Fergus Allan of Windyhill (Dunbartonshire) and Joseph Kelly of Cambuslang (Lanarkshire).
There was lots of high quality golf played with Fergus having 4 birdies and Joseph 2 birdies. The scoring can be seen on the attached scorecard.
Fergus won the match 3&2 and is the West of Scotland Boys Champion for 2023.
The course is in fantastic condition and the weather was very kind to the players and officials.
