The GGU Glasgow Open Championship took place at Cathkin Braes Golf Club on Sunday 4th August.
Congratulations to Scott Crichton of Leven Thistle Golf Club who is the new Glasgow Open Champion. Scott had 2 fine rounds of 70, 69 for a total of 139 to finish 2 points ahead of the nearest player.
In second place with rounds of 70,71 for a total of 141 (countback) was Jack Crawford of Williamwood and in third place was Connor Neil of Blairgowrie also with a total of 141 on countback.
Despite the heavy rain towards the end of the second round the competition was completed. A big thanks to our hosts, Cathkin Braes Golf Club who played a huge part in the success of the event. Many thanks also to all the players who entered and look forward to seeing you again next year.
