Congratulations to Louis Fleming of Haggs Castle who is the winner of this season's Order of Merit series. Louis has been playing consistently from the start of the series when he picked up his first points at the Edward Trophy at Gailes Links.

Placings at the West of Scotland (Largs) and the Ralston Rosebowl helped to stack up the points. More points were added at his home course in the Cameron Corbett Vase tournament giving him pole position going into the GGU premier event of the season, the Glasgow Open Championship.

Despite a superb two round total of 138 in the event Louis missed out narrowly and finished runner up. However the points awarded for second place propelled him over the finishing line to give him his first OOM title.

It is worth noting Louis's finishing points total is the highest in the OOM series for over 5 years.
