The GGU ‘A’ Team had their ‘duel in the sun’ at Hilton Park on Saturday the 7th in the match v Renfrewshire. The weather was glorious and the course in good condition despite the recent very wet weather. 

The foursomes were won 2-1 but overall Glasgow lost the tie 5-4 with the deciding singles match being decided at the third extra hole played between Roody Macauley and Gordon Sangster. A disappointing end to a great Championship for the ‘A’ Team and we can all look forward to more progress in the seasons to come.
