Golf clubs across Scotland are embracing the opportunity to drive levels of participation with record numbers of sign-ups for 2026 Scottish Golf's junior golf programmes indicating a bumper summer of activities.

In 2025 we saw a rise in both club memberships and overall participation figures, and the stats for core programmes in 2026 are already hugely encouraging.

For example - 

GolfSixes league up 11% to 169 clubs.

12 GolfNines Leagues running in 2026.

78 clubs awarded Roving Pro funding.

34 Clubs receive Club Hire Fund.
